Raptor Engine

This was one of the 1st exhibits we completed to showcase the visual fidelity and interactive possibilities of our YumeGo app. As many of us were SpaceX fans and knew that the Raptor engine would be the corner stone of SpaceX's interplanetary ambitions, we wanted to design and develop an exhibit that was as authentic to the engineering as possible while still making it accessible. We consulted with JPL engineers to try to really understand what made this engine so revolutionary, and gleaned from them crucial insights that we used to design the experience around. Every physical detail was painstakingly recreated manually from reference photos (we did not have physical access to the engine) including the "shock diamonds" effect featured at the end when the visitor successfully ignites the engine!
