During the tournament, the Seattle Local Organizing Committee tasked us with extending the economic and cultural impact beyond the stadium walls. Our solution was SEA&WIN - a mobile app that transformed Seattle into an interactive augmented reality (AR) playground!

How We Turned Seattle into a Game

To break the typical mega-event bubble that funnels fans straight from hotels to matches, we gamified the host city experience! We guided fans through vibrant, sometimes overlooked locations, including public art installations, independent businesses, and official supporter hubs.

We knew the secret to driving real foot traffic was a rewarding gameplay loop. Physically arriving at these curated stops unlocked highly engaging, location-specific AR mini-games uniquely tied to Seattle's history and culture. By completing our AR challenges, users earned digital tickets!

This functional in-app currency could be redeemed at designated locations for exclusive physical prizes, merchandise, and local perks.
